Greg James' love of the sea & all the things in it goes back to when as a 3 year old, locals christened him ‘the Corny Point Life Saver’ when he lived on the beach during weekends & holidays with his parents. His passion for the ocean comes from his Danish ancestry where his great grandfather, a sail-maker from Fyn in Denmark, jumped ship at Port Lincoln in 1884 & settled on the West Coast of SA.
Greg has worked as a deckie for professional fishermen on the West Coast, dived, surfed & fished the Houtman Abrolhos Islands & has had the good fortune to dive, fish and surf many of the islands from the Solomons group, Fiji and Rennell in the western South Pacific.
